French fries

It was almost midnight, I had just finished playing some baseball with a friend. We were a bit hungry and decided to get some food at McDonald's. We ordered some fries by using the drive-through service.

I was ready to take a bus to visit a friend. Before taking the bus, I got a call from my friend. He asked me to get a bag of meatballs.

I passed by a local supermarket a couple days ago. On the shelf, there are several new flavors of snacks. In particular, I checked if there were some new flavors of chips.

I was on the train, going back to the apartment. Then, a friend sent me a message to ask me whether I would be available the next afternoon.

A couple of weeks ago, a friend just posted a photo on Facebook. He indicated that he was in a supermarket in Japan and there was a queue. Many people were waiting for the discount meal in the supermarket.

Retired

Several months ago, I received an email from a great friend’s father. He asked me whether I’m all right. Additionally, he told me huge news that he just retired.
