Discount

A couple of weeks ago, a friend just posted a photo on Facebook. He indicated that he was in a supermarket in Japan and there was a queue. Many people were waiting for the discount meal in the supermarket.

There are several cost-saving tips while traveling. An important tip is to know how to get a deal at a lower price.

During my first trip in Italy, I found there was a summer sale and I went to several shops to get some clothes. Luckily, I got several clothes at a great deal and those clothes are really durable. Even now, I still wear some of those clothes.

Additionally, some of my friends went to the United Kingdom for Christmas several years ago. Boxing day is a huge day for shopping. A friend told me that some of them went crazy on Boxing Day and tried to buy a lot of merchandise. However, that friend realized that they went too crazy and told them that they might not be able to take all the stuff. Thankfully, they did buy something, but not too many.

In Japan, many supermarkets offer discount meals. In some supermarkets, they offer like a 20% discount from 7pm. Moreover, after 8:30 pm or 9pm, you can see that supermarkets offer 50% discounts.

My friend shared a photo of those people waiting for the 50% discount. Well, a 50% discount is huge and you can really save some money by buying some of those groceries at a much lower price.

However, an important thing is that you have to wait for those discounts. If you are too hungry in the evening, it’s better to grab something to eat instead of waiting till 8:30 pm or 9pm. Furthermore, it’s important to make sure that you buy something you need. Otherwise, buying too many products that are unnecessary might just increase the weight of luggage.
