Breakfast restaurant

I woke up in the morning. After staying in the living room for a while, I decided to go out to get something for breakfast.

Well, I was on an island in Brazil. There weren’t many options for breakfast there. I walked on the street and took a look. I decided to have breakfast in a “bakery”. I don’t know if it’s correct to call it a bakery. But anyway, coffee and bread were available there. I just grabbed a little bit and I finished breakfast.

During those days on the island, I basically went to a hotel for breakfast with my friends. We were living in an apartment, however, there weren’t any stores that were so close to the apartment. In the end, we decided to go out for breakfast.

We found a hotel nearby and they served a buffet there. Actually, the food served there wasn’t bad. And the environment was good. We had breakfast and we chatted a lot in the hotel restaurant. Nonetheless, there was a problem. The breakfast cost much more than I expected. So, I spent a lot on breakfast during that trip.

Well, that was an interesting experience. But for me, breakfast is a different concept. There are many breakfast options in my home country. There are breakfast restaurants and I can easily get breakfast in a convenience store. While traveling, there are basically 2 options for breakfast. First, the hotel or hostel I stayed at provided breakfast. If not, I will buy milk, coffee and some food from a store nearby. So, in the morning, I got something to eat for breakfast. There’s nothing fancy, just something necessary. For me, it’s important to have breakfast during a trip because it helps me gain energy before a whole day's journey. Nevertheless, that trip in Brazil was a bit different.
