A few days ago, I topped up some money on viber. By doing so, I could make some phone calls, in particular, international phone calls.

 

The main reason that I decided to top up on viber is that skype is no longer available. Previously, I used to make so many calls via skype. In particular, some calls were extremely important. For example, I used to call an admission office to check my application status. I used to make some calls about looking for an internship.

 

Moreover, I made some calls to some hotels to arrange several trips. I checked about the service provided by the hotels. Some hotels provide pick-up service for free. However, some hotels replied that it’s not free. I need to make sure of all those details before taking a trip, particularly, it’s very important to arrange all those things on an international trip. And, the best way for me to make international phone calls was to use skype.

 

Well, of course, some people might say that there are many ways to communicate nowadays. For instance, you can use social media since many hotels are available on social media. And sending emails is a way. Nonetheless, for me, sometimes, making a call is an easier way. I can solve the problems and clarify my doubts by making a call. For me, that’s a good way.

 

I haven’t used Viber to make international calls to arrange my trip. Nevertheless, I believe that it won’t take long. Today, it’s easy to communicate with your family and friends via using mobile phone applications. Nevertheless, there’s still a need to use phone calls. Skype was a cheap and reliable option for me. Now, I switch to viber. I don’t know if someday, I will need to switch to another service provider or there will be a new way to make phone calls. But, I know that I will keep traveling.
