tea bag

A friend asked me if I like tea. At the beginning, I didn’t understand why he asked me. Then, he explained that he got some tea bags from his hometown.

I certainly hear that black tea from his hometown is very famous. So, I didn’t hesitate to say yes. I got a good black tea bag.

While looking at the tea bag, I was just thinking about some tea bags I tasted while traveling.

Normally, in a hotel room, you will find tea bags and coffee packets. Previously, I liked to taste a cup of coffee in the morning. Hence, a coffee packet was just necessary for me. Nonetheless, when I travel to Japan, things become a bit different.

In Japan, there is a wide variety of tea. For example, I like green tea and barley tea. When I stay in a hotel room in Japan, I usually use tea bags provided by the hotel. So, I can taste different types of tea from Japan. That’s always a good thing when you stay in a hotel in Japan.

Sometimes, you can experience the culture in a hotel room. The tea bags or coffee packets might somehow let you know the culture of a country. For example, you might see a country with a rich history in tea culture or coffee culture by reading some information on the tea bags.

While tasting the black tea, I learn a bit more about the region where my friend is from. In a hotel room, paying a little bit attention to some small details, we might engage with the cultural narrative of the region or country. I might take a trip to another country soon. I will check what a hotel will offer in the room. I hope to learn a different taste of local history and tradition.
