A Korean friend and I had dinner. It’s a local restaurant and the menu isn’t in Korean. He tried to use an application to translate the menu. He tried to understand the menu on his way.

 

I don’t know if later on, he went to that restaurant again. However, that made me think about my trip to Spain. One day, I was in Barcelona. In the afternoon, I was thinking about pizza. So, I went to Domino's Pizza. Well, it doesn’t sound like a good idea. Anyway, I did it.

 

I entered the shop and tried to read the menu. I truly had difficulty reading the menu. In the end, I tried to understand by checking the photos. And I ordered a pizza. However, the pizza was not what I wanted. So, it’s a mistake.

 

And later on, I went to Croatia to visit my friend. He lives in Zagreb. One evening, we decided to order some pizzas. This time, I didn’t make any mistakes. My friend asked his girlfriend to order for us. His girlfriend helped us identify what we wanted.

 

Around 30 minutes later, the pizzas came. The pizzas were really good. It’s from a local pizza shop. Hence, the flavor is not the same as other retail chains. I like those pizzas and for me, it’s another experience of ordering pizza during a trip.

 

Of course, you can decide what to eat and sometimes, ordering pizza might not be an ideal way to experience local food. Nevertheless, ordering pizzas could be interesting. It’s a way to experience the local style of service. And for me, my friend’s girlfriend truly helped us order good food and that helped gain a different experience of traveling. I still miss my friend and I just texted him, indicating that I would like to see him soon.
