I wanna a break

I had dinner with a client and a team member. We just finished some work and meetings that day. However, it was the beginning. I still had something to do that night.

But, the client indicated that he needed a break. There are truly a lot of things during those days. But he wanted to take a break and finish other things the next day. So the client asked me if I would like to have some beers. Well, why not?

I knew that I still had something to do. Nevertheless, that might be the only day that I could take a short break because I could anticipate that there would be so many things in the coming days.

After dinner, we went to a convenience store to buy some snacks and beers. I introduced the client to a fresh one. Hence, we grabbed some beers and snacks. And we agreed to meet after I finished some work.

I did my best to finish some work on time. So, we could take a break. We tried beers and snacks. The main reason that the client bought those snacks was that he had to try them first. His boss would come soon and he had to prepare some snacks. So, it’s better to taste those snacks first. Well, the beers, he thought that it’s ok.

Eventually, it was a great night. We did take a break and later on, the event went well. It was a successful business trip for the client. For me, I did feel that I got the job done. Indeed, you might be busy during a business trip. However, you still have to take a break. Sometimes, a break could help you regain energy and that break also helps me and the client identify some key things before his boss comes.
