I watched some videos on X (Twitter). A player indicated that he put some “presents” in his garage. Well, it seems that those presents are not what he’s looking for.

 

After watching the videos, I was just thinking about my journeys and some souvenirs I bought while traveling. At the very beginning, I liked to collect a lot of things on my trips. For example, I even collected some DMs from department stores. For me, those things looked new to me and I just wanted to collect more memories.

Nonetheless, gradually, as I look at those souvenirs, I sometimes don’t understand why I collect those things. And I began to think about a key thing. Shall I throw away some of those things? The answer is yes, indeed. However, how to do it and when to do it are other key things.

 

In addition, I remember that when I was traveling with a friend, I bought so many playing cards. Well, I told him that I collected playing cards. But my friend thought that I truly bought a lot. Looking at those playing cards, well, for me, there are a lot. Nevertheless, I can’t guarantee if I truly bought too much.

 

However, I don’t like to buy as many souvenirs as I used to do. So far, I basically buy souvenirs for my friends and family. And for me, I only buy something necessary. I tend to buy less while traveling. It’s better to spend more time experiencing the lifestyle of the city and seeing the city.

 

Nonetheless, a key thing for me now is to truly think about clearing some spaces in my room. Some souvenirs might help me think about some memories during a trip. But I don’t really need them anymore. If possible, I might send some stuff to friends or family.
