Do you know xxx?

I just got on a flight after finishing a business trip. After fastening my seatbelt, a flight attendant came and asked me a question.

 

She asked me if I know Mr. xxx. Well, my answer is yes. That guy is my college friend and he’s now a captain. The flight attendant is nice. After serving the meal, she came to me and gave me a bag of souvenirs. In particular, I found something that I truly like. Playing cards, yes, I collect playing cards.

 

After getting off, I texted my friend and told him what was going on. He asked me how the flight attendant treated me. I told my friend to say thank you to the flight attendant. Oh, by the way, she offered two cups of cocktails, which were great.

 

Well, it happened before the trip. When I got the itinerary, I asked my friend if he would be flying that day. It wasn’t. For me, it’s a pity that I couldn’t take a flight in which my friend is the captain. Nonetheless, my friend told me to share my boarding pass with him.

 

An interesting thing happened, my friend found out that he knows an attendant on my return flight. He texted her. Well, my friend didn’t know if she would reply or receive the message. Anyway, in the end, it happened.

That was a great business trip. I was able to meet the client. Moreover, I got some souvenirs on the return flight. I truly appreciated that my friend did help me a lot and I experienced something different in this business. Nonetheless, I told my friend that, hopefully, someday, I will take a flight that he’s the captain of. That will be truly a good experience and I will never forget. But I don’t know when this will happen. I have to check next time.
