6 times

I was watching a program on YouTube. It was about doing business in the U.S.

A sales manager was responsible for expanding business in Arizona, U.S.A. In the program, he clearly indicated that over the last year, he went to the United States at least 6 times. Yes, that’s a lot.

Each time, he has different objectives and goals. Most of the time, he has to meet the clients and check the factories. Sometimes, he has to attend some exhibitions. For him, the most difficult part is to attend the exhibition for several reasons.

Firstly, it’s about the budget. The advertising agencies in the U.S. offered service, sure. However, the budget didn’t satisfy that manager’s requirements. In particular, the budget is a key problem.

So, the manager can’t hire an agency in the United States. He has to collaborate with some agencies in his home country. Before his business trip, the manager has to pack all the necessary marketing materials with him. He showed his luggage to the reporter. The reporter clearly saw there were a lot of materials.

Indeed, those business trips aren’t easy. He had so many things to prepare before each trip. At the same time, he has to overcome so many things such as jet lag. He mentioned that he had to get the job done because it’s his responsibility. In the meantime, it’s a huge step for the company he worked for. Previously, he never thought that this could happen. However, things have changed dramatically. It’s a different generation. The company he worked for embraces the challenges and he has to embrace those challenges. There shall be more challengers ahead. He has no other choices. He has to face them and move forward. In the coming years, this might still be his routine, flying to the United States several times in a year.
