A few days ago, I went to some restaurants with friends. And we found something interesting.
Firstly, a friend came back from China and she asked me and other friends if we could go to a night market. Another friend suggested a restaurant in a well-known night market. I never went to that restaurant and for me, it was worth trying something new. However, the restaurant was occupied and we decided to choose another one. We found a teppanyaki restaurant. And one friend demonstrated that she went to this teppanyaki restaurant before and it’s a good one. We decided to have dinner there. Nonetheless, that friend who went to the restaurant before mentioned something different. There are many staffers from other countries.
In addition, I went to a restaurant that provides Spanish food such as paella and tapas. In the restaurant, my friend and I also see there are staffers from other countries. And they are from France.
I enjoyed having dinner in both restaurants. Those staffers provide high-quality service. They recommended what to try and helped us order a meal. They are professional.
By going to those 2 restaurants, I just recalled some memories of going to Paris. I was on Champs-Élysées and decided to check out some luxury stores. In each luxury store, there are staffers who can speak multiple languages. Indeed, it would be helpful to have staffers who are bilingual or even speak more than 2 languages. So you can serve more consumers from different countries and overcome the language barriers.
This time, I’m just wondering if there are some changes in this industry. I would like to visit some other restaurants to see whether there’s something similar. If so, I will probably try to analyze this situation to know if there’s a trend or something that has dramatically changed.
