Want to try chocolate?

I was working a bit in a hostel in Asia and a friend was working as well. We chatted a little about life in Europe. She just came back from Germany a couple of months ago.

After chatting a bit, she asked me if I would like to have some chocolates. I like chocolates, so I didn’t hesitate to say “Yes”.

She had 2 bags of chocolates. She demonstrated that she bought them in a Lidl store. I tasted some chocolates. It was in the evening and those chocolates gave me some energy.

I used to go to Germany several times. However, I don’t remember that I bought too many things in Lidl stores. While tasting those chocolates, I just recalled so many memories that I actually like to buy chocolates as souvenirs.

I went to Zurich and bought some chocolates in a supermarket. I went to Japan and chocolates are necessary to buy. For example, I bought some chocolates in several shops as souvenirs. There are just so many types of chocolates available and really, it’s hard to choose. Many of them looked really good. Additionally, I remember my first trip in Japan and I bought some boxes of chocolates in an airport.

Back then, I didn’t have any Japanese yen with me. I just spent too much. Nonetheless, I saw some chocolates in gift boxes. I decided to buy some, so I used my debit card. I didn’t know if there was enough money. Thankfully, I still had a little bit of money in my account.

Chocolates have been quite important for me while traveling. On a trip, I like to taste different flavors of chocolates. Chocolates provide energy, well, calories as well. Meanwhile, chocolates are good options as souvenirs and many times, my friends like to receive them.
