I was in a traditional Chinese medicine hospital. A doctor carefully evaluated my symptoms and asked me to get ready for acupuncture.
She asked me if I had dinner. My answer was no. So, she grabbed two candies for me. She asked me to eat them, otherwise, I might feel uncomfortable. I followed what she said and the process went well. I felt much better after the acupuncture.
That doctor always asks me to follow a routine and avoid being hungry. Most of the time, I follow what she says. Nonetheless, sometimes, I just forgot to eat and was too hungry.
And I remember that there were several times that I was so hungry during a trip. I usually ate breakfast in a hotel or a hostel. Then, I went out. During a trip, I usually walked a lot and sometimes, I didn’t have lunch. Sometimes, in the afternoon, I was quite starving. But I just kept walking. And I had dinner in the evening. For me, that dinner looks like a reward after walking a lot in a day. So, I might not eat anything for around 6 to 8 hours during the day. Nevertheless, sometimes, I was just too hungry. I would see if there are any stores or restaurants nearby, so I could get a snack or something to eat.
After traveling to several cities, I certainly understand that it’s better not to be too hungry. So now, if I travel, I will prepare some snacks just in case I will be too starving. And after going to that traditional Chinese medicine hospital, it seems that those candies can be a good choice for me on the next trip. Those candies won’t require too many spaces. So I can take them easily and it could help me avoid being too hungry.
