It was a few months ago, I met a friend from England in a hostel. He was ready to do his work.

 

He’s an English teacher and he had 2 or 3 lessons that day. We talked a little bit before his class started. Most of his students live in Eastern Europe. Since he’s in Asia, he has to work overnight to teach his students.

 

It was great to speak with him. Nowadays, we can see so many people who work and travel. Indeed, you can travel around the world and do your job at the same time. 20+ years ago, I read a book, which was written by a renowned business leader. He indicated the future of work. In particular, he mentioned that you can work anywhere with your laptop and your mobile phone.

 

That business leader was a visionary. Now, when I read the book again, several things have become normal. It’s quite clear that people can travel easily. It’s true that you can work anywhere with your mobile phone and laptop.

 

After my friend finished his class, he went to the kitchen to grab food for his “dinner”. He bought some food in a local convenience store and we talked a little bit more about life in Asia. Well, the weather was a little disturbing those days, but overall, it’s a good experience.

 

That’s always an interesting thing to talk about the lifestyles across different continents. 10 or 20 years ago, I certainly wouldn't believe that I would travel to so many countries and experience different lifestyles around the world. Moreover, I can also work at the same time while traveling in some countries. As that business leader said, with a mobile phone and a laptop, you can accomplish a lot of things. In the future, it will be worth watching what changes will make us live or travel differently.
