Print in advance

A few months ago, I watched a YouTube livestream. In the stream, a pilot and his girlfriend were discussing planning a trip. The pilot indicated that he would always do one thing before the trip.

The pilot mentioned that he would print the visa (if necessary), flight tickets info and some documents before the trip. However, his girlfriend demonstrated that she just took photos of those documents.

Well, each way could work. Nonetheless, the pilot shared his friend’s experience in Singapore. His friend would like to travel to visit a friend in Singapore and watch a formula one race. Nonetheless, when his friend was in the airport customs, the customs staffer asked his friend why she traveled to Singapore.

His friend answered that she was planning to watch the formula one race. The airport customs staffer asked her to show the ticket for the game. His friend couldn’t show the ticket because her friend bought the ticket and just asked her to come to Singapore.

In the end, the pilot’s friend was sent back and didn’t watch the formula one race.

The pilot indicated that everyone has to be very careful in the airport customs. Once you have a record of being sent back, it might be harder for you to travel to some other countries. Hence, it’s way better to print all the necessary documents.

For me, I normally print all the documents such as flight ticket confirmation and hotel information before going on a trip. It’s always great to take a trip. However, if the trip doesn’t work and you are sent back. That’s certainly a disaster. Therefore, for me, spending a little bit more time preparing all those documents is certainly a key thing to do. Being well prepared will surely make the trip easier, in particular, you could avoid some problems.
