the time

My friend sent me a schedule. It was an updated one because she knew that I followed the news carefully.

Well, I would like to go to Korea for a trip. I wanted to visit some old friends, who I used to collaborate with on a big project. We had a great experience and I told them that I would like to visit them again.

My friend has been to Korea several times. In particular, she used to go there for exchange and she speaks Korean fluently. Additionally, she occasionally goes to Korea for some interpreter work.

I chatted with my friend frequently about the timing of traveling to Korea. She told me a lot of things, which I never knew before. For example, the rainy season in Korea. That’s something I didn’t hear before. With my friend’s suggestion, I understand that I need to avoid traveling during the rainy season. Well, that depends on everyone's schedule.

In addition, I know a little bit more about national holidays in Korea. That also helps me organize a trip. Last year, I didn’t notice that some days were national holidays. I sent a lot of emails during the national holidays, I truly felt so sorry to bother them.

For me, that’s a good lesson to collaborate with people from other countries. Furthermore, it’s great to meet a new friend who speaks a foreign language and understands the local culture. With my friend’s expertise and experience, I can communicate with my friends from Korea more effectively. Meanwhile, I can learn from them. Furthermore, there’s an important thing for me to do. That is, I have to plan a trip to Korea. I must visit those friends. And, I have a good friend, who lives in Seoul. I certainly want to meet him again.
