I went to a Latino restaurant with some friends. We were there to celebrate a friend’s birthday.

 

The restaurant was run by a chef from Colombia. Interestingly, I met a friend who works in that restaurant. We used to meet in a wine shop and he shared a lot of knowledge about wine with me. That was a surprise.

 

The restaurant staff were so amazing. They explain each meal to us. And the way they serve each meal is excellent. Moreover, the chef came to our table as well. The chef described the meal he prepared. In particular, he indicated that the idea is from traditional cuisine from Colombia.

 

The dinner was great. My friends and I enjoyed the meal. Furthermore, when we were going out, the chef came out as well. He shook hands with me. He said, “Thank you for visiting.”

 

The service was truly excellent. And I just recalled a moment when a friend and I went to a restaurant in Lyon. The restaurant was a 1-star Michelin restaurant. I like the way they served the food. Well, I couldn’t precisely remember what I ate. All I can remember is something good. We had lunch at that restaurant. After lunch, my friend asked a restaurant staffer a question.

 

When we went out, the chef was there. We took a photo with the chef. Yes, my friend asked if we could take a photo with the chef. That was the first time that I knew what a Michelin restaurant was.

 

After the dinner with my friends, I was thinking if this Latino restaurant will become a Michelin restaurant. The service and food are great in the restaurant. I will surely go back again. Well, I’ll keep following the news to see whether something good will be announced soon.
