a new start?

A friend just moved into a new apartment. She told me that it was a new start for her. Previously, she never thought that she would live in a shared apartment. Nonetheless, she decided to try something new.

Her friend invited her to stay at the apartment for a week to see if she’s ok to live in a shared apartment. After a week, she chose to stay. After hearing her story, I just thought about different types of accommodations that I chose while traveling.

At the very beginning, I chose to stay at the hostel. I didn’t have much budget and I would like to experience what it looks like to stay at a hostel. Then, I prefer to stay in a hotel room. I might still have some work to do and sometimes, a meeting. For me, a hotel room is a better option. Sometimes, I travel with friends and we used to book an apartment. It was fun to be in an apartment because we can cook and chat a lot on the sofa. And, sometimes, I choose a room on Airbnb. I stay in a local people’s house and it’s not a bad idea.

So, there are actually many options to choose for accommodation. An important thing is to think about the options and what might best fit your expectations. For example, you have to consider budget, location, safety and so on.

When I talked to my friend, I understood that she already thought about several factors. She indicated that she might not stay in the shared apartment for a long time, but at this moment, it’s a good option for her. It’s a new chapter of her life and I hope that she will enjoy her stay at that apartment. It’s always important to enjoy your life and embrace new challenges.
