taking care of pets

I just had dinner with some friends. A friend is a lawyer and she also has some freelance roles. For example, she’s an interpreter and a translator.

 

A few weeks ago, she had a big project and had to go on a business trip for a week. A key thing for her was to ask some friends to take care of her dog. She indicated that her dog normally goes out every day. In particular, her dog has to go out to do some “business.” When I heard that, I quickly asked if the dog had to go out even if it's rainy. My friend’s answer was yes.

 

Well, I certainly understand what she said. I usually walk a neighbor’s dog. The dog really likes me and he likes to go out with me. Sometimes, the dog just follows me. A few months ago, I went to Japan for a business trip. Another neighbor told me that the dog was unhappy during those days when I was in Japan. I couldn’t stop laughing. But, I know that the dog just would like to see me.

 

So, when I heard my friend’s story about her dog, I can easily share the similar story to my friends. Indeed, when you have a pet, it might be easy to go out for a certain period of time. For example, a friend has several cats at her apartment. When she has to travel for a few days, she has to set up many things such as an automatic cat feeder and cat water fountain. Moreover, she has to watch pet cameras several times a day to monitor her pets.

 

It's not bad to have pets in life. Nonetheless, if you plan to travel, you have to think carefully. In particular, you have to make sure that someone can take care of your pets or you know how to choose a good pet hotel.
