the arrival time, too close, problem

I met with a tourist guide a few days ago. I had a meeting with her because we need to organize a huge event. And we had to pick up several VIPs.

We checked their itineraries carefully. Nonetheless, the tourist guide identified some possible problems. 2 flights’ arrival time is close. Hence, if the first one is delayed and the second one arrives early, there might be some problems.

We tried to figure out possible solutions. However, it’s really hard to have a great solution. Firstly, it’s hard to predict if the flight will be delayed or arrive one time. You can only rely on the situation on the day of the event and react as soon as possible.

In addition, there are a lot of people. With so many people, it’s not easy to claim baggage quickly. Sometimes, well, you have to wait. Hence, the waiting time is usually long.

Moreover, you have to guide all the people to get on a van or on a bus. And you need everyone to put the luggage in the right place. Therefore, there’s a lot of work to do and sometimes, you don’t know how much you need to do.

Overall, the experience is not bad. We can run the process and learn how to improve it. The VIPs’ reactions were positive. That’s quite important. Well, with some feedback, we might make it better next time. And, a key thing is that I might still collaborate with that tourist guide because she’s professional and is able to help so many things. With her rich experience in the industry, I can avoid some problems early or identify possible solutions as soon as possible. Thankfully, her participation in this project is positive. And I look forward to collaborating with her for more projects or something even more interesting.
