I’m so sorry

I just recalled this story a few days ago. This isn’t a good one.

I took a flight from Hong Kong. Before taking that flight, I already took a flight from Delhi. I was quite tired that day. And the flight was delayed. So, actually, the flight I took from Hong Kong wasn’t the original flight that I was supposed to take.

Anyway, I took the flight and took a nap on the flight. After landing, I just wanted to get off as soon as possible. So, I tried to get my bags from the overhead compartment. Unfortunately, a box dropped and it hit a passenger in the front row of me. He was unhappy.

A bad thing is that I forgot to apologize. I just wanted to get off as soon as possible. After getting off, I thought that I did something wrong. But I didn’t see that passenger again.

Nonetheless, it’s a good lesson for me. After this experience, every time I open the overhead compartment, I become more careful and would notice if there are passengers nearby.

Moreover, I would check the spaces in the overhead compartment carefully as well, so I would cause some troubles to other passengers.

For me, what I did previously was indeed unacceptable. I should have been more cautious and apologized to that passenger. Nevertheless, after that lesson, I have done something different and would try not to cause problems to other passengers. Additionally, by this way, I will also cause fewer problems to flight attendants. There are truly a lot of things to learn and I have learnt so many things from traveling. I’m glad that I did take the opportunity to learn and understand that I can do something better. I mean, much better and I gradually make it better and better.
