something is missing?

It’s not fun. Really. I was in a hostel and checked my “food box”, which is a small box that we can put our food or snack in during the stay.

However, one day, I was going to get some peanuts. I couldn’t find them. They were missing. I couldn’t believe it. I was angry. However, I had to figure out what was going on.

I asked the manager to let me check the video recording. And a friend who I met in the hostel provided some clues. Well, the result is clear. That friend’s clues worked. In the video, a guy got something and then he ate something.

Well, someone stole my snacks. It sounds so stupid. But it happened. I remember something similar when I was in high school. I lived in a high school dormitory. One evening, a roommate asked me if I ate his snacks. “What?” I said, I couldn’t believe what I heard. A few weeks later, my batteries were lost. I reported to the school, but they didn’t help.

And in this case, I told the manager that he has to solve this problem. It’s certainly not a good thing to face this situation. In particular, when you are traveling, you don’t want to see anything lost.

Nonetheless, for me, a key thing I learned is that I have to pay attention. It’s important to know what you have during the trip and where you put them. For example, you surely have to remember where you put your passport or lock your passport. Of course, you don’t have to be too suspicious, but you have to be careful. Sometimes, something unexpected could happen and you need to understand how to react. Most importantly, you should stay calm first and then think about possible solutions.
