change money before the trip?

I waved goodbye to my friend, who went to Canada for a working holiday. I’m glad that he made it.

 

Before his journey, we truly chatted a lot. I asked him if he had already changed money. Well, he asked me about bank accounts and making some currency exchanges. However, he faced a problem. The bank where he opened the bank account doesn't have Canadian dollars. It’s a serious problem because he can’t get Canadian dollars before the trip.

 

He had to go to another bank to change money. Hopefully, he has enough money with him before he gets his first job in Canada.

 

Well, before taking a trip, I normally would change money. I think that it’s important to have sufficient cash during a trip. Nevertheless, as I visit more countries, I have different ways to use money. Nowadays, there are many ways to use credit cards. For example, several banks provide benefits and privileges, including airport transfers, parking benefits and travel insurance. That’s something that many travelers can think about.

 

Money is certainly an important thing in our life. While traveling, how to use money well is surely important. I remember that the first time I went to Japan, my friends and I were chatting about exchange rates and the timing about changing money. Furthermore, we also talked about the banks that provided the best exchange rate. Back then, my friend called me the winner of the money exchange. Nonetheless, the exchange rate has been so different now. And so many friends who actually have a lot of Japanese yen with them. They know that they will frequently visit Japan. So, they change money in advance and they can save Japanese yen in their bank accounts. Indeed, there are many possible ways to use money wisely during a trip. You just need to study first.
