It was on Sunday. I walked a friend’s dog. It’s a corgi with a long tail. He looks quite cute on the street.
I was planning to take the dog to a park nearby. On the street, a group of tourists saw him. They stopped and asked me if they could touch the dog. I said yes. The dog was acting friendly. And they did take many photos. However, a few minutes later, the dog barked and we left. Well, the dog was going to the toilet.
I live close to a night market and normally, there are tourists each day. In particular, there are a lot of tourists on holidays. I used to walk that dog to a store near the night market. When tourists saw that dog, they looked quite curious.
While walking the dog, I always recalled a story about another friend’s dog. I used to visit a friend in Normandy. Her parents have a big dog at home. When I came to the house, I saw a big dog come in. The dog looked like an easygoing one and he actually tried to hug me.
It was so fun to see the dog with this reaction. I asked my friend to take a photo. When I posted the photo on Facebook, so many people liked the photo. I guess many friends like dogs.
I still think about my friend’s dog in Normandy. I haven’t visited the neighborhood for a while. Nonetheless, I frequently asked my friend if the dog is doing well. Occasionally, we had a video call and I could see the dog at the house. For me, I have a good story of interacting with dogs on the other side of the world. While walking the dog on the street, I do hope the dog acts well to be a nice “host”.
