machine didn’t work

A couple of months ago, I was in a hostel. However, something unfortunately happened.

 

The dryer in the hostel didn’t function well. The other one was working but we just had to wait. It truly took time and I waited until midnight to get my clothes dry.

 

Previously, I didn’t use the dryer or washing machine provided by a hotel or a hostel. The main reason is an obvious one, well, I don’t want to spend too much money. Nonetheless, this time, I had to live a little bit more time at the hostel and I didn’t have enough time to wash my clothes and wait for the clothes to dry.

 

I told the hostel staff about the situation and he indicated that he called someone to fix it. It really took a few days to repair the machine. For me, that’s truly a new lesson.

 

Before traveling, I will normally check the facilities in a hotel or a hostel. I usually see that there are washing machines and dryers in a hotel or a hostel. But I didn’t think that I needed to use it. But this time, something unexpected happened.

 

For me, the next time, I will check carefully when I check in. I will see if those machines work well. Also, I will see how many machines there are. With the information in mind, I can evaluate the situation better. Well, I probably will not use a washing machine or a dryer if I have to pay. Nonetheless, if something urgent happens, I can act quickly and avoid spending too much time waiting. Waiting until midnight was a bit crazy and I had to dramatically change my plan. Basically, I was just waiting for that day. It’s part of the journey. But thankfully, I could get my clothes dry and I could go out on time the next day.
