Writing postcards again

A few months ago, I received an email from a friend. We used to write to each other for a while. However, life has changed a lot. Recently, we decided to write to each other again.

After receiving my friend’s email, I began to think about a thing. Previously, I used to write postcards to my friends. However, after the covid-19 pandemic, I haven’t done that for a while. It’s not that I don’t like to write postcards. It’s just because I didn’t utilize my time well.

So, I decided to write postcards again. I went to a store with another friend. We saw some interesting postcards. Then, my friend and I decided to buy some postcards. I couldn’t wait to write those postcards.

I wrote those postcards and sent them to some friends. Of course, one was sent to the friend who wrote me emails. I’m so glad to write postcards again. And I recalled some memories of writing and sending postcards.

I met a friend at work and then we became good friends. While traveling, I occasionally write postcards to her. Nonetheless, an interesting thing was that, when a postcard arrived at her home, her dad would read it first. So, her dad would tell her what I wrote and mentioned if he liked the postcard.

Well, I couldn’t stop laughing. I can’t control her dad. But I can manage what to write on a postcard. So, one day, I decided to write something like this. “I hope your dad likes this day.” And then, my friend told me that her dad liked the postcard. I haven’t written a postcard to that friend since she already moved to another town. Nevertheless, that’s still an interesting story. And I’m looking forward to writing more postcards. Hopefully, my friends would love to receive them.
