I was using duolingo in a hostel. A friend was working in the living room. She asked me what language I learn on duolingo.

 

I said that I was learning Spanish. And she indicated that she just came back from Germany. It was great to speak with her in the hostel. We talked about so many things.

 

We talked about some cities that we’d been to. We talked about some food we tried. And we talked about jobs. Well, that’s something quite interesting. She indicated the role she’s doing now and the major differences of working styles in some countries.

 

She just began her career and still explores other opportunities. She mentioned some people she met while traveling. Many of them didn’t settle down early. They traveled a lot. They like to experience different cultures. They don’t expect to earn huge money. But they know how to enjoy life. They know the meaning of work-life balance. Meanwhile, they know that there are always opportunities. It doesn’t matter if you are in your 20’s, 30’s, 40’s or 50’s. All you have to do is to stay healthy, stay curious and stay energetic. So, you can identify new opportunities.

 

Indeed, while traveling, you can meet people from different parts of the world. Additionally, you can learn from other people. That friend enjoyed traveling and has learned a lot during several trips.

 

Sure, there are many ways to enjoy your life. You don’t have to live under other people’s expectations. You can identify your way to enjoy your life. You can find your way to have a work-life balance.

 

It was great to chat with that friend in the hostel and we still share what we have done recently. Furthermore, we share our ideas of work-life balance and traveling. Without doubt, we are still exploring.
