Souvenirs from Alsace

I had dinner with high school friends. Before dinner, they gave me some presents. I was just so surprised.

 

One just came back from Europe. He went there with his wife for their honeymoon. He and his wife went to two or three countries in Europe. When I saw the souvenir, I saw something familiar. There are some souvenirs from Alsace.

 

I only went to Alsace once. My main reason that time was to visit another friend, who studied for his Ph.D. in Strasbourg, Alsace. That friend was also at the dinner.

 

While seeing the souvenirs, we quickly recalled some places we went to in that region. I spent a few days in that region and it was a great trip.

 

It was so interesting to talk about that trip. We all went to the same region and we can each talk about our experience in that region. Additionally, we didn’t go to the same cities in the region. We can also talk about the differences in each city.

 

That was a great dinner and I surely had lots of fun with those great friends. It’s hard to imagine that as time went by, we each went to the same region. Moreover, for me, I can’t believe that after so many years, I still get some souvenirs from that region. It's kind of cool to have such great friends. We might not travel with each other again because we have been busy and it’s hard to arrange a trip. Nevertheless, we can hear from each other about their journeys. Furthermore, if I need any advice about traveling, I just ask them and they can provide good suggestions. And one friend just came back from the United States and we are trying to arrange dinner again. I believe that it will be a great dinner again.
