I listened to a podcast show a few months ago. In the show, the host mentioned toast with jams. He really likes certain types of jams.
When it comes to jams, I just couldn’t forget a homemade jam. Several years ago, I visited a friend who lives in Normandy. One day, we went to visit her grandparents. Her grandparents prepared some food and I saw something interesting. I saw a bottle of jam and then I asked my friend what it was.
My friend indicated that the jam is made by her grandmother. Then, I asked if I could have a try. I tried it and the jam was so good. I tasted the jam with bread. Oh, I really like it.
I asked my friend’s grandmother how to make the jam. She mentioned some ingredients she used. Well, I couldn’t remember all the ingredients. But it’s a natural fruit jam. I told them that I liked the jam.
Well, before the journey came to an end, I visited her grandparents again. In the house, we had good food and had a great talk. I was so glad that I made the trip and met my friend’s family.
Before leaving, her grandmother gave me a small bottle of jam. I was so surprised to receive that great gift.
When I arrived at the next destination, I just bought some toasts and most of the time, I tasted toasts with that homemade jam. It was so wonderful.
I haven't met my friend for a while. However, we occasionally talk. In particular, there are several times that I mentioned homemade jam. I asked my friend to tell her grandmother how much I love the jam. Well, it’s been a while since the last time that I tasted the homemade jam. Nevertheless, I won’t forget how great that jam is.
