Visit Museums

Visiting museums could be included in several tourists’ plans. When it comes to museums, it’s highly possible to hear people talk about the Louvre Museum, British Museum, Metropolitan Museum and other world-renowned museums. I always spend some time visiting museums during a trip and always find something interesting there.

There are so many cool museums around the world. You can learn about history, art, architecture, science and so many things while visiting museums. I went to the Louvre Museum and was amazed by the amount of collections. I tried to spend two days there and still thought it was not enough.

In addition, there are many small museums in which I also spend a lot of time. Sometimes, it’s even better to stay and enjoy watching artworks or collections in these museums. It’s usually less crowded. You don’t have to wait for a long time and then you can only watch a painting for just one minute because there are still many people waiting in a queue. You can even stare for hours for something that is truly attractive to you.

Everyone has his or her favorite things. Someone may like Van Gogh’s paintings. Someone may like cars. Someone may like sculptures. There are many types of museums around the world. You can explore what you truly like in a museum and sometimes you will meet people who share the same interest as you do. Besides, you can also hear something interesting from museum staff or guides. I really like to talk to some staff in the museums and they always share something very cool with me.

Museums are something that people won’t miss during a trip. However, it’s important to understand what you want to see or watch. Also, spend time wisely. You definitely don’t want to wait for a long time to buy a ticket or enter a museum. Do your homework, understand what are “must-see” and “you-wanna-see” and don’t waste your time. Otherwise, relax, enjoy the atmosphere and watch the artworks as long as you want. Every time I go to a museum, I always learn something new. At the beginning, I always tried to see as many as possible. Later on, some friends suggested a better way, which is to slow down. Spend time on what I really like or something truly draws my attention.
