Really?

I was in a restaurant in Barcelona. I was there with a friend. The staff and the owner are quite nice. In particular, the owner showed some “magic”.

The meal provided in the restaurant was of good quality. And we like to chat with the staffers and owner.

And, suddenly, a staffer asked us a couple of questions.

“Do you like Barcelona?”
“Is Barcelona your favorite city?”

That’s a good question. The staffer indicated that he’s been in Barcelona for many years. However, Barcelona isn’t his favorite place. He likes to go to other cities in America or stay in other cities.

Me and my friend provided my answers. Then, we talked about other topics as well. Anyway, it was an interesting dinner. We ordered good meals and we chatted a lot.

Nonetheless, now, the question is even more interesting. I’ve traveled to several countries and have seen cool places around the world. When I think about those questions, I guess my answers could change.

I stayed in Barcelona for a while and saw several parts of the city. Of course, there are several perspectives of the city and the city truly attracts a lot of people. Nevertheless, as I travel to other cities, I know that some cities can provide something that Barcelona can’t provide.

I haven’t gone back to the city for a while. However, I still remember many great stories in the city and still keep in touch with some friends that I met in the city. I would certainly say that I miss the city, really. I miss some people I met in the city, really. I would like to see the changes in the city and experience something new. Of course, a key thing is to see La Sagrada Familia. It’s going to be completed and that will be cool to see.
