Taking a test

I had to take an online test a few weeks ago. It was an assessment of a job application. Well, for me, I really don’t like to take tests and most of the time, I didn’t do well on those tests.

After taking a test, I just recalled a story of a college classmate. We were preparing to study abroad before graduating from college. He was preparing to take a GRE test.

However, he chose to take a GRE test in Singapore because he preferred to take a test on a computer. So, he decided to take a short trip to Singapore. One day, I saw that he posted a message, indicating that it would be great to have someone to travel with him.

In the end, he finished the test and took a short trip to Singapore. We quickly chatted a bit after he finished the trip. He sounded tired but anyway, he finished the test. So he could take a break.

That’s another interesting reason to take a trip. And it’s not rare. Some exams or tests are only available in some countries. If an exam or a test can help you achieve your goals, you have to take it. My friend took a test in Singapore. Well, it might not be easy to prepare for a test. Nonetheless, after the test, he can travel a little bit.

For me, it’s not a bad idea. Nevertheless, the most important thing is to make sure that you can get things done. It’s not easy to prepare those things because of several reasons. You have to book a hotel where you can sleep well and review your study materials. You have to spend some time on transportation before taking a test. You might go to a country that you are not familiar with. That’s actually a lot to think about.
