A few weeks ago, I watched a YouTube video. A YouTuber has some conflicts with one of his staffers. And they decided to part ways. Previously, in several of his videos, that staffer showed knowledge of luxury goods.

 

Well, I’m not an expert in luxury goods. However, I did know some brands. At least, I know some brand names. After watching that video, I recalled a story from my first trip in Europe.

 

I was in Paris, one afternoon, I walked on Champs-Elysees. I saw the Louis Vuitton store and decided to take a look. Entering the store, it seemed to be a different world to me. Of course, I didn’t buy anything. But it was a fun experience.

 

When I left, a woman was trying to stop me. She was asking me if I could buy a wallet for her. Suddenly, she showed me the money, which was a lot. Oh by the way, her husband was there as well. She indicated that they already bought some bags or something. They weren’t allowed to buy more. So, they asked me if I could help them. They also showed a photo of the wallet.

 

In the end, I didn’t enter the store again. I didn’t think it was correct and said no to them.

 

That was an interesting experience. But I certainly don’t want to see it again. It’s not a surprise that some people like luxury goods. And while traveling, I saw many people go to luxury retail stores. And some people actually spent a lot. By entering some stores, I saw the different levels of service.

 

During a trip, I like to visit some stores. Sometimes, a local store helps me see the local lifestyles in a different way. Sometimes, going to a luxury retail store helps me know who those customers are.
